In the month of January when the temperatures are really down & the days are comparatively shorter here, people generally do not venture out for recreation or any excursions. Most of the time people prefer to be at home and spend time with families and friends. Some one like me would also think about developing or pursuing their favorite indoor hobbies like reading, writing, listening to some good music or even watch a movie on their home theatres in the warm comfort of their homes. This winter I decided to do something different and fortunately for me I did not have to struggle for long to decide as to what I should do.

By nature I am not a firm believer of the astrology but even when I read about my zodiac sign by chance, one thing that struck me very prominently was the description about basic traits of most of the Cancerians. It said that Cancerians make good Artists, Writers, Sales persons, Preachers or Teachers and surprisingly I was bundled up, all in one but predominantly a Sales Person. I always had great desire to write or rather put my thoughts in my own space whether it is for the general reading or for the personal satisfaction of my ability to create something authentic. During my career span I have written many award winning articles on Marketing, Sales, Management and Rural Water Supply schemes but they were mostly of academic interests and for the selective readership. I am sure it would not have reached the masses. I therefore wanted to write something which would be thought provoking and something appealing to masses where I can take up an important issue to create a public awareness and thereby contribute something for the betterment of the society This idea was constantly echoing and reechoing in my mind for several years and finally this winter it took birth in the shape of my personal blog site. “JUST THINK ABOUT IT” having the site address as

When ever you create a new platform for a cause, you are constantly thinking about how to use your ideas and creativity to up grade your platform to a next level of achievements and thereby derive the maximum benefit to reach closer and closer to your purpose. This process continuously evolutes and leads to more and more innovative features of your vehicle of purpose. My articles and stories on my blog site would not only aim at creating an awareness among the people about the burning issues like Environmental Concerns, Affordable Education & Healthcare for all, Increasing Cultural divide and other Socio Economic Issues, but as an extension of my attempt to write some informative articles also thought about creating a revenue model, when I read on the Google about Adsense.

When you make an agreement with Adsense they will post a number of advertisements on your blog or website and I suppose they pay you a nominal amount, may be a cent or even less per click on the advertisements posted on your blog site. Although the advertisements on my blog site may not gel very well but I have allowed this with a purpose that whatever revenue is generated with the advertisements, I will use it exclusively for charitable purposes. I have already short listed Red Cross, Unicef and Texas Children Hospital as beneficiaries but many more in the areas of Education and Health care will be added as the revenues grow. While in India I had a small personal charitable trust but after coming here that activity is somewhat slowed down and therefore I thought that this could be a good beginning. I know for sure that I can not reach to even a fraction of the total charities created by Mr. Bill Gates or Mr. Warren Buffet but I will definitely have the mental satisfaction that I have done my best to achieve my purpose.

I will therefore appeal to all the network members to visit my blog site and click on as many advertisements as possible and also advise your friends and family members to do the same so that this blog site generates good revenues. The entire revenue will be spent for charitable purposes and to make it more transparent I will ensure that all the revenue earning figures and charities made to different institutions will be published on this blog site periodically.

I will therefore once again appeal to all of you TO CLICK GENEROUSLY to generate more and more for many unknown recipients whom you have never met or seen but you know for sure that they definitely need your help and sympathy.
