Kyun Ki... its Salman and Kareena

Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor pairing is a strong enough reason to start with. The last time they came together was in Kyun Ki... and the film was talked about for its fresh pairing and unique chemistry. Kareena confesses that she was a bit nervous initially to work with Salman who made a fabulous pair with her elder sister Karisma Kapoor in several films. But soon they gelled well and the chemistry is doing all the talking.

Preity is hot and ‘Happening’

Preity Zinta makes a special appearance in the film in a club item number and is looking absolutely sexy and sensational in the song. The song attempts to revive the magic of Kajra Re starring Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan which is considered to be one of the most popular item numbers of all time.

Revival of R D Burman

The film revives a prominent R D Burman number ‘ Bade achche lagte hain ’ sung by Amit Kumar in the yesteryear film Balika Badhu . The song plays as ‘ Bade achche lagte hain yeh dharti yeh nadiya yeh raina aur tum ' the stress being on the word ‘Raina’ which is Kareena Kapoor’s name in the film.

When an important sequence in the film needed to create a sense of intimacy between Kareena Kapoor and Sohail Khan in a nostalgic sense, they zeroed in on this melodious number.

Director’s touch

Prem R Soni makes his debut as a director with this film and the buzz is he is already amongst the most sought after names in the industry. So impressed was Atul Agnihotri with Soni’s work that after a special screening of MAMK, he decided to rope in Soni for his next with Salman.

Musically yours

Sajid-Wajid come up with their best compositions for Salman Khan and same is the case with Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. The songs of the film are rocking big time with ‘Don’t Say Alvida’ and ‘Happening’ topping the charts.
