In today's world the most important resource in the corporate world is Human Resource. In lay man words, employees and it is surprising to know how many of the organizations neglect this. Though they have a employee relations team, it is still not up to the mark, because if the employee retention is being done perfectly why is that people leave or change organizations for every 4 years on an average?

The irony in today's corporate world is we are neglecting the most important aspect of the business. The machines which are used for production are halted for a period of time so that the productivity does not go down and why is that at least the same procedure is not followed for human resource?

According to me, every employer should give a break or in fact gift a holiday to their employees to increase their productivity, which in turn will generate profits for the organization.

I would suggest the holiday should include the complete family which will build an indirect bond with the employees' family

One more important aspect in employee retention is the family of the employee which plays a major role. If the organization can make sure that the family of the employee is also happy then, the wife or the child will not crib even if the employee has to stretch at work for some more time because they understand that that the organization is not only taking care of the employee but also the whole family.

Interactions with employees and their families frequently will also help in building the relation with the complete family. Once the rapport is built and the comfort level is created, employees would not look out for other opportunities and hence the organization will save huge amount of money and time by cutting down on recruitment, training and development etc..
