New Delhi: The FORE School of Management (FORE) today conducted its 15th Convocation ceremony at its campus here.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India was the honourable Chief Guest at the Convocation ceremony.

In his speech, Dr. Kalam put emphasis on Research & Development and stressed on the importance of the power of knowledge.

Dr. Kalam further said, “To keep the integrity of India, it is essential and important to develop in all fields which will lead the people of India to hold their feet as a developed and well organized nation of the world.”

Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Kalam firstly distributed degrees and diplomas to students of the institution. He also awarded the Scholastic medals to the institute’s most brilliant and intelligent students.

While speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Mr. R.C. Sharma, President of FORE School of Management said, “I am confident that you will show commitment in achieving excellence in whatever field you pursue. The management skills, the values and the disciplines that you have imbibed in FORE should help you in taking the right decisions. Success in your career will make us proud”.

Presenting the activity report, Dr. Seema Sanghi, Director of the institute said, “We are proud to have yet another very successful placement season with all the students placed on the Zero day itself. The highest package offered by the international recruiter Jumbo Group, Dubai was 26 lacs per annum and the highest domestic offer was 11 lacs, a jump of approximately 35 pc higher than last year. We have produced successful managers and entrepreneurs who are responsible citizens and good human beings”.

She further added, “Awareness is being developed through the hands on experience through participation in the tree plantation project which is promoted by the institution. One lakh trees will be planted in one year by the FORE students and faculty”.

In the concluding speech, Dr. G.V.G. Krishnamurthy offered special thanks to Dr. Kalam and the guests.

He conveyed his thanks to Dr. Seema Sanghi for her initiatives in bringing the institution among the best B-Schools of the country.
