Hello friends, we are normal public, being a normal public it is our responsibility to be a part of a queue.

Queue is a line containing a number of living persons like me & you. It is a big luck to be on number one in a queue. Normally it is our nature to break the queue & reach to the service counter as early as possible. Being a student of MBA I have read queuing theory in operation research subject, but don’t worry I’ll not bore you with the discussion of its theories and rules. It is really interesting this theory tells how we can manage our service time to cater more customers in a limited time period.

Queues in daily life:

· Queue in school life for prayer.

· Queue in college life for- admission form, fees, viva, mark sheets etc.

· Queue in canteen.

· Queue in petrol pump.

· Queue for movie ticket.

· Queue for traveling ticket.

· Queue in front of temple

· …………………

· …………………

I am doing my internship in a government organization. We (me & other girls) use to go in canteen to take lunch. There is always a long queue of peoples in the canteen. We all become famished till lunch time and as a human nature we don’t want to be a part of that long queue, so we have got a solution for it……… ??? We use the back door of the canteen to take lunch (it is a facility provided from canteen Staff for Girls only, We say one quote daily- ‘Bingo ! we interred inside the canteen first.)

But alas this facility is not available everywhere. We have to be a part of a queue. I think no one want to be in a queue for a long time, it waste too much of time. I think every process should be computerized, it will save time. Again ‘but’, this facility can’t be available every where. Government is trying hard to make every sector high –tech, now some fields are free from queue like- Banks, Electricity bills, Mobile Bills, E-ticketing (Booking ticket online),ATM and many more…

To utilize time in a queue:

=>Use your mobile to listen FM.

=>Read or Send SMS.

=>Read magazines or news papers.

=>Wake up! People are shouting from back “aage badoo” (famous dialog of Malamal weekly).

So enjoy being a part of queue…
