Will Asin and Anushka make it big in Bollywood?
Asin Thottumkal is on cloud eleven these days. With the success of her debut film 'Ghajini', it has become clear that she is 'here to stay'. Asin has bought a flat in Bandra recently and seems all set to shine in Bollywood. Asin has already bagged 'London Dreams' opposite Salman Khan. But the success of her dreams in Bollywood will depend upon the competition she is facing from her contemporaries.

While Asin has debuted with perfectionist Khan, another newcomer Anushka Sharma has added to superstar Shah Rukh Khan's list of heroines. Cute and innocent looking model-turned actress Anushka too is dreaming big after the success of 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'. After all, we do need few Preity Zintas here and there.

If you thought, we have had enough of new entrants this year; just think about Prachi Desai who, we are sure, will 'Kasamh Se' make it big in Bollywood. She is already rocking with her first release 'Rock On'. She will be seen with Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, and Genelia D'Souza in Abbas Mustan's 'Life Partner'.

Adah Sharma also managed to impress with her performance in Vikram Bhatt's '1920'. But will her adas woo the audience? Only time will tell.

Though all the above-mentioned actresses seem promising, but lessons from the past suggest that it is too quick to tout them as superstars of tomorrow. Remember the 'Love Story' couple - Kumar Gaurav and Vijeta Pandit? Both of them faded into oblivion despite a rocking start. And who can forget Bhagyshree who debuted opposite Salman Khan in 'Maine Pyar Kiya', but drowned in a flood of flops and even her hubby Himalaya's efforts to shore up her sagging career resulted in himalayan failure.

Similar was the fate of Ameesha Patel who couldn't do anything substantial after the success of 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' and 'Gadar'. Kim Sharma, Shamita Shetty and Preety Jhangiani shot to fame with Yash Chopra's 'Mohabbatein', but the trio couldn't deliver a single hit after that.

But in recent years Deepika Padukone has given two subsequent hits - 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Bachchna Aye Haseeno'. Priyanka Chopra who debuted with 'Andaaz' has finally found her ground in Bollywood and has delivered two hit films - 'Fashion' and 'Dostana'.

It now remains to be seen whether these newcomers will end up being one-film-wonders or they'll have what it takes to rise and shine for a long time to come.
