"Social Networking..the Online Cold War"
Facebook, twitter, plaxo, silicon.....what real utility do these social networking sites have for the society except increasing the cost of the society making the rich -poor divide wider and slowing down the servers and the world productivity. It is something like when paper was invented...the euphoria over it and its lavish use has resulted in the worst environment crisis today. Likewise see what is happening to the world economy and society. The importance of emails is diminishing day by day. See how many value added services call you get ina day forcing you to change your ringtone because people donot want you to enjou and relax. Earlier if one email used to fetch/result a month's report, today there are 30 email reports a day..still your boss is not convinced and satisfied that you are performing. If you were a mailer earlier you are a mailbaaz now. Instead of developing the economy by making technology costlier we are pulling the leg of the economy by proposing to providing computers @ Rs. 1500/- .......someday human development will saturate as people will enjoy by ordering pizza & burger through internet and cellphone without actually consuming them, because the person you would be ordering will order a cellphone from your store-ask you to deliver it to him and tell you to take your ordered pizza on the way back...in this virtual world who will do the actual physical work that is required to supplement the virtuality. who will farm the lands.... or everybody will have those capsules astronauts carry in space...eating out Rs. 1500/- dinners or eating Rs. 1500/- computers...making life so easy..easier. eat technology, drink technology...sleep technology....
