Rajiv chose to sideline some bigwigs because he felt that they did not share his vision of India. ButRahul time and again maintains that Dr.Singh is his PM and he has no such ambitions. Dr.Singh and his team of Economists including Dr.Ahluwalia and Chidhambaram have already eroded his party's primary vote bank with thier anti people economic policies. Mayawati is busy taking away a chunk of Dalit and upper caste votes which otherwise was the party's monopoly.Rahul should plunge in to politics with confidence and play a lead role in revitalising the party and convert this into a party of the masses as before.Will he do it ?
