Poverty
There has been long time since I really posted here. So after longtime here is one of my approach to eradicate poverty (economic I mean). There have been many well publicised attempts mostly political which were more to gain votes than to get rid of poverty. So here in my attemp to put forth another one, a non-political and a sincere and novel approach. This is based on the age old learnings which were handed down from generations to generations but just moulded to sound scientific here.
Consider poverty as a disease like hypertension, diabetes, cancer, TB rather than a social condition. But you dont need a doctor to diagnose or even to treat this "disease" as this is a "Socio-Psycho" disease. Now lets see what are the symptoms of this disease.
1 - Can not buy food two times a day
2 - Can not buy clothes
3 - Cant afford education
If above conditions are present then the petient should be in ICU and on life-support. A less severe condition can be
1 - cant afford entertainment
2 - Cant afford transportation
3 - Cant afford medical treatment etc etc
For above condition, patient is still very serious but has much less time to recover and lead a happy & peaceful life. And I think you can guess that this is how the severity of the disease changes.
There si another list of symptoms which are listed below. After going thorugh this you will understand why I classified this disease as "Psycho..." disease.
1 - Cant eat Pizza daily
2 - Have a car but cant afford a Mercedez/ BMW.
3 - Cant go to holiday to Europe/ Africa/ Mahabaleshwar every 3 months.
So there are various levels of seriousness of this disease, the approch is still valid. It will cure you of this disease.
1 - Early to Bed and early to rise. Even if there is nothign to do by getting up early always get up early.
2 - Always keep yourself busy with work.
3 - sleep only when necessary
4 - No television strictly
5 - Always treat others with respect and look for every opportunity to help/ improve.
6 - Dont lie (white lies acceptable once in a while)
7 - Always smile even in face of difficulty.
8 - Treat every expense with utmost caution. The golden rule is "Spend not when you can save and Save not when you have to Spend".
9 - Keep your area (home/ shop/ work place/ school/ desk etc etc) clean.
10 - Practice humility.
Although it is written in a light vein, if you look at it seriously you will realise that all the above are the fundamental things which our parents teach us/ taught us. If these are overlooked we might catch the "Disease".
So take care and spread the word. Poverty is a disease and there is a way to get rid of this disease.
Bye for now
