Delhiwallas Nightmare- Crawling in Traffic On Roads!

It's not something new to commuting Delhiwallas. Perhaps, everyday night, tired & exhausted Delhiwallas go to sleep praying to Al-Mighty- Please make sure tomorrow my commuting will be soother & smoother than today's, only to realize that his dreams & prayers fell short to awaken Al-mighty on traffic issues on Delhi Roads. So now does that mean that after MCD, Al-mighty also appeared to be helpless about worsening traffic conditions on Delhi roads? Whom shall I complain now? Or Should I?

Perhaps E. Sreedharan might have helped us, but I came to know that he himself prefers his vehicle than Metro to commute. So situation appears to be entirely hopeless as of now and future of driving safe on Delhi roads is bleak. Every morning Delhiwallas get up early in fear of getting trapped in gridlock. You leave early to reach on time but then this formula doesn't always guarantee you the safe & smooth passage to destination. You never knew you neighbor had bought new Hundai- i20 recently and parked just in front of your old car. So struggle of reaching office starts with getting vehicle on road, then crawling on road and of course ends with finding an empty parking space in limited parking lot. You need luck to be lucky on roads in Delhi. Even I heard some stories around that people eat their nashtas while driving. Oops... Haven’t I told you that I had my nashtas today in moving car?

Ok, being a part of problem doesn't make me crazy always. Except few rainy days, the situation appeared to be under control on roads (which isn't), but then today evening it again reached to zenith of chaos, amid the great enthusiasm of Delhiwallas to reach home early and enjoy time with family on a long weekend. Are you concerned about future of commuting on Delhi roads? Please don't be. As said earlier, if no one is listening to your concerns then what's the use of having a concern? If I have to crawl on roads and reach on time, everyday, does that mean survival has reached to its toughest paradigm now and there is no turn back? Commuting in metros like Delhi's becoming exceedingly unhappy experience day by day and only radical solution could help us all. Perhaps, unless someday we realize the effectiveness in strengthening the public transport system, we will hopelessly continue to pray to Al-mighty who's more than happy to ignore us on account of one justification-"If you have created the mess, now please clean it yourself"

Do take of yourself while driving! Observe the rules! Happy Commuting!

Good Night!
