Good Blogs are good blogs and if whatever you write makes sense then it's a pleasure to read. Yes, I am talking about a blogger sitting inside all of us. The same experience I had recently when I visited homepage of Mr. L.K.Advani. Whether you agree or not, Adavaniji scores high when it comes to use of Blogging as a medium for political campaign.

I have tremendous respect for him. Not because he holds a charisma of leadership, or he is ideological with Hidutva, but he often speaks and writes from heart. While I was reading his book, "My country, My Life", every page written made me feel that the Author has written it with deep sense of touch. The more you read, more you could relate yourself with the incidents mentioned in book. It was straight from heart narration of political history of India, or rather BJP, highlighting his own journey to top.

Coming back to Advaniji's website http://lkadvani.in, it was a good show put by BJP leadership. The idea is to connect it with young India. How often we forget the fact that Internet could be used as a medium to connect people across globe. Irrespective of the fact that Broadband penetration in India is very low, in Metros where young India still curiously stays away from political jugglery, it really helps in connecting with the idea that a political leader in India, can have some fresh inputs for all of us.

Some of the blogs written by LKA, are on same lines, the latest one was of 2nd March about “From Jail to Freedom Park..." I do remember the mention of this incident in his Auto biography, but still it is different altogether to read a blog of our Prime mistrial Candidate. It appears that LKA, has started posting from Jan-09, but it is never too late for a person who thinks the small steps could make really big difference.

Then there are blogs on CEC's recommendation of removal of Navin Chwala, International Message of National Identity, and Vibrant Gujarat etc. More you read, more you respect the tremendous knowledge he holds on disparate topics. It is not only about politics, or campaign but also a special mention of the Coffee table Book by Amit Mehra. I do remember somewhere Advaniji mentioned his love of reading books and about his own collection of books in his personal library in his autobiography. And it truly gets reflected from his blogs. It appears that the whole persona has descended completely in each of his written lines in blogs.

Apart from reading LKA's blogs, you could find some other interesting things on page. From Political news of tie-ups with regional parties, Atalji's health recovery, BJP's Volunteer Program for election, Advaniji @ Campus by Arun Shourie, discussion on issues like Unemployment & Poverty in India, Save Assam-Save India etc. Then of course special mention of Vibrant Gujarat and link of Narendra Modi Webpage http://narendramodi.in on same lines of LKA, BJP's campaign map across India, Volunteer's efforts making difference, mention of national youth day on 12th Jan and so on. After visting the page, you keep on wondering whether BJP has become more idiological or it is the effect of charisma of LKA & Nanrendra Modi, which is a driving force behind election campaign. Never an issue, there seems to be good balance between idiology of person & a party as a whole when it comes to LKA & BJP.

The last time when LS Election was held, I used to get unsolicited calls on my mobile where I could hear then Prime Minister ABJ's elocution. This was an idea introduced by then campaign head Pramod Mahajan. After 5 years, the same technique is carried forwards with registration of your mobile phone number yourself for getting political alerts on mobile. Try it yourself!!!

At end, we are going to see how an Internet Savvy Political leader with his new weapon of campaign "Blogs & Internet homepage” helps him to achieve political ambition. But one thing is sure; it has already made a difference in a way we looked at political campaigning in India. A positive difference!!! Good Show Advaniji!!!
