We need change in leaders not in system
Does Indian democracy need change to cope with foreign intrusion or terror attack?
System is democratic or otherwise, it is immaterial. As long as people of the country are lazy and self centered, government cannot imagine handling intrusion or infiltration from neighboring countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh or China. Especially when leaders who are ruling the country are inactive, inefficient and dishonest, country cannot dream of tackling the threats, internal or external.
We need leaders like Lal Bahadur Shastri or Indira Gandhi; we need not to change the system but the leaders.
By the way our country and our armed forces are great and exhibited their capacity during Bangladesh liberation war and during Pakistan war or Kargil war. We do not have lack of potential, only person with ability have to be given chance and people with criminal record have to be discarded.
Do not keep silent until you change the person who are corrupt and who promote unhealthy culture, give rise to injustice. Continue making efforts, you will get the result sooner or later.
Students under racial attack in Australia
I do not understand why Indians prefer going in a country when they are not safe there. If they continue to go there, it shows that there in not much truth in what media says. If there is real threat to all Indians and Australian government do not take any step, Indians have to come back, no way out. Even Minister of external affairs has hinted on this line.
India cannot dictate terms to Australian government. Indians are supposed to stop ragging in Indian schools and colleges safeguard foreigners living in India and do all possible diplomatic efforts to persuade Aus government for overall safety of foreigners residing and reading there.
