Yummy Healthy Pasta Recipe
This pasta is healthy because we are using whole wheat pasta and making fresh tomato sauce instead of buying sauce with preservatives.
Ingredients-100 gms whole wheat pasta
4 ripe tomato
6 cloves garlic
1 tbs olive oil
fresh basil leaves
salt and pepper to taste
1/3 tsp chilly flakes
4 cherry tomatoes for garnishing
Method -Boil pasta in 1/2 litre water add 1/2 tsp olive oil and 1/2 tsp salt for 3 minutes,switch off the stove.cover it with lid and let it remain standing for 5 minutes.
now drain the hot water and add cold water to stop heating process.keep it aside
Blend the ripe tomatoes and garlic in a blender.
Heat olive oil in a pan and add tomato garlic paste,Stir it for 2 minutes,add salt and chilly flakes ,keep in mind to add little salt as you have already added salt while boiling pasta.add few basil leaves and save few for garnishing.
drain the pasta .now add drained pasta to tomato paste,stir it a little.
shift it in a serving dish,garnish with basil leaves and cherry tomatoes ,sprinkle freshly grounded black pepper.
