Sprouts are nutrition powerhouse you must have heard many times but then there is a question which comes to everybody's mind why not pulses why sprouts?
so here is the answer in the process of sprouting ,pulses(sprouts) develop more antioxidants.
sprouts has more antioxidants,more protein and more vitamins.
mostly green moong or green gram is used to make sprouts but you will be happy to know that you can make sprouts from many grains and pulses.such as Quinoa,Brown rice,buckwheat,chick peas,wheat.you can even fortify your sprouts by adding 1 tbs of sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds to your sprouts.
In the process of sprouting sometime bacteria also grow along with sprouts.to keep them at bay steam your sprots lightly before consumption.
