Sun rays that hit the earth surface warm the earth making the temperature livable for various species. These rays are then reflected back into the outer space as infrared. Small amount of these rays are trapped in the earth's atmosphere to make sure that the temperature is maintained on earth.

Carbon-dioxide plays an important role today - Various activities we perform on earth are producing carbon-dioxide. Thus, increasing the levels of Carbon-dioxide in the atmosphere. (Component of the Green house gases)

The earth atmosphere's composition changes. Those gases that helped to retain the sun rays are increasing in the atmosphere and as a result more and more rays are getting trapped and heating the earth. This increase in temperature as we know is melting the ICE not only in north and south pole but reducing all the fresh water resources as glaciers that help form rivers.

What possible impact can human's have on the planet earth?

We are seeing & facing the sudden change in the climate.

Its time to DIG more on this and then decide if the whole picture is hyped or real.
