A Line can change your life - "Today is the first day for rest of my life"
"Today is the first day for rest of my life" is a beautiful line from the beautiful flick "American Beauty". I know that many of us are aware of this rousing line. But yaa..you might be wondering why this chap still has taken this line to write a blog and that too the first one of his...Reasons to be followed by..There were days in my life where I was sitting in a niche with ardent pain, dispirited, dismay all over my face, weeping from my soul that I has to loose an important person in my life due to some logically illogical(to me) reasons, whom I thought was everything for me. Nothing to do much, took the CD of "American Beauty" thinking that I can persuade my feelings and started watching the flick with meek involvement. As the movie went on, "Kevin Spacey" states this beautiful line "Today is the first day for rest of my life" as per his accordance in the movie which caught my shattered heart going dead cell by cell. And suddenly I realized a new bounty of high amplitude blood oozing out from the veins of my heart, egging me to come out of the tedious state in which I was and have a rejuvenated "Today" everyday. That is all...I was back...What was the thought process which went into my mind at that point of time...to be followed...
Everyone in their life has to undergo some kind of hardships( if you are not born with a silver, gold, platinum bla bla bla spoon in ur mouth), which I had in plenty. But only few of them can recuperate with authority and will. And I wanna be in them. After all if you are not SAD, then how can you feel the delight of HAPPINESS.
Repercussion : A person asked me what will I do after I retire at a probable age of 6O and I answered him 1st day of my 61 year - I will start a new life... :) with immense confidence....
Hence as AB said "An IDEA can change your life" in one of the best Adds of the decade, I can say "A LINE can change your life" too..
