To continue my comparison between the two personalities, namely Indira and Sonia I would consider the venue is up coming election in 2014. Sonia's prime responsibilities are with the party and not of saving some erring colleagues from the inner circle of Manmohan Singh. She and her party has been wasting most time in trying to save these people. I feel that must stop. At the cost of party's interest these people are continuing their activities creating many problems for the party. Sonia has to decide what are her prerogatives? Winning all seats in the next election or at the cost of that, continue to give clean chits to these persons? I would advise to her that her choice has to be the party. There was time not very far in the past when Congress party would come in the parliament as a sole majority party and was making her cabinet to manage the affairs of the government. Now for some time, since Manmohan Singh gained importance, we see that is no more the situation. Congress party needs to have clutches of smaller parties and has to form a coalition government. Why this situation has come up? My investigation showed to me that a wrong group of people entered into the party's high command position and as they did it; gradually this one time great party began to lose her majority position. Making it compulsory to make a government with small local parties. We had UPA 1 then UPA 2 and I am afraid plans are afoot to work in the next election to form UPA 3! I wonder why UPA is required? What happened to the massive strength the party had enjoyed and why it is lost? The reason is, wrong persons were inducted into the party by some callous members of the party. As the number of such persons gradually increased party began to show laxity in its performance. This all happened primarily because Sonia was not behaving with iron hand the way her mother in law would do during her times.

May be, Mammohan Singh has convinced her that without his expertise India can not manage economic development. That is not exactly correct, actually during his time we are having all the economic problems. Experts at the finance ministry are competent to manage affairs.

Today there are cases pending on matters of great concern. Coal scam, 2G spectrum scam and many more are at the Court. Opposition party people are using these scams to further malign name of the party. All these things are happening only because Sonia wants to save Manmohan Singh and with that his group. Recently Railway minister was removed by her with great efforts and that is a good sign I believe. I hope she shows additional courage and ask Manmohan Singh to stand the trial and ask him to clear himself from all accusations on his own accord and not attempting to take advantage of being a PM. For that she has to ask him to leave PM's seat and come clean after a regular trial. If he is not guilty well, he can come back and join the party or if found guilty face the consequences, that is not happening and that is why congress party is gradually losing her prime position; needing support of regional parties during elections. Sonia must not feel that if Manmohan Singh is found guilty it will hamper Congress party. Actually, Congress party has nothing to do with what individuals like Manmohan Singh or Chidambaram or any other is doing in their private capacities while holding positions in the government. However, today every body sees that Sonia treats the wrong doings of these people as part of Congress party's work. We see party spokes persons try to justify these people as if they and their mischiefs are the responsibility of Congress party. This must stop and these spokes persons should clearly avoid justifying these people. This is wrong and she better stop protecting these people; let them fend for themselves for whatever they did while in power. The correct policy for her as the president of Parliamentary UPA will be to let them manage their defenses on their own. For that she should ask them to vacate from whatever position they are presently holding and order them in that capacity to face the Court. Making party separate from the doings of these people. If she does that, we people of India will get a clear picture that wrong doings of these people has nothing to do with the party. Today that picture is not coming up, and that is not good for the party. I am sure, Indira Gandhi would have done exactly that to keep the party from any controversy. One senior Congress party member told me that Sonia keeps on depending on advises from the coterie of Manmohan Singh and so long as this continues, we shall not see Congress party coming in power in the next election solely on its own.

Why she depends on them? Is it her weakness? If so she must garner strength to be independent of such advises. She has all the support of Congressmen while these people have no support at all. If she shows some strength the way she did recently, this group will fade away and that is required to make party strong. She must keep party distinctly away from any and all things these people do and give clear signals to that effects. One more example I would like to show. Chidambaram is facing a trial case at the High Court Madras against his last election results. The complainant argues that he has lost the case. If he has not lost the case why he does not allow that case to complete and get the out come? So long as he holds position in the cabinet morally it is not appropriate to expect that case to continue and so for that he must quit cabinet and face the trial. If he wins fine and loses he should not be in the government. This case is pending and now almost period is finished; so whatever the results he does not lose anything but here we should note that due to this irregular way of handling such case Congress party has lost confidence of people. Sonia should have asked him to clear his name from that accusation but she did not and that is under pressure from this coterie. Many such small and big happenings are gradually eroding good name of this one time great party. By this dependence she is weakening Congress party making UPA indispensable. The issue of completing five years of UPA that is almost done, only a few months are left and even if Manmohan Singh vacates seat of PM the party with its UPA group can continue by appointing a new PM of her choice, so that need not be a problem. It is the completion of term by UPA government, that is important with or without Manmohan Singh.

Bottom line is that Sonia Gandhi must prove that she has all the strength of her mother in law Indira and she can truly rule the party and government all by herself. If she shows that courage many worthy Congressmen will come forward to help her run the show. She should know that there is no dearth of efficient persons in that party but so long as this gang holds on her, they dare not come forward to support her. I request her to get rid of these people so that other more efficient members of party can join her to build the party to win next election all by its own strength. She must understand that nobody is indispensable and no loss is permanent; that is one important law in management and that should give her the required courage. I warn her that if she does not take my advise sincerely one more UPA 3 and similar scams we shall have to see. If that happens gradually Congress party will disappear and local thugs will take over the government. That will be very bad for our country. People like Mannmohan Singh are parasites, they shall discard Congress and move to other more suitable party. Sonia Gandhi has a task to perform and if she fails; that is the end of this great party.
