The Forgotten Hero
The Forgotten Hero
I am not Martin Luther King, who fought for the black civil rights.
I am not Gandhi who taught non violence, as the great weapon against your adversaries.
I am not deaf and blind like Helen Keller, whose deeds echoed in the valley of hope.
History says the term “hero” came from Ancient Greek which means demigods. I am nothing of what heroes are made of…
All I know is to care for my lady love and look after her as my sole duty.
I will lend her my ears when she needs me to listen, and she will have my shoulders when she needs to rest.
She will have my hands to pick her up when she falls, she will have my heart with her when she feels alone.
To the one I love she calls me her Hero!
