Terrorism, the reality of our lives?
What happened??? Who broke those innocent dreams wavering in beautiful eyes of the child who wanted to fly in the sky of hopes? Who filled the exquisite ambience with shrilling voices of gunfires, bombs, and staunch of blood? Who changed the mesmerizing texture of white snow to dark red color? Is there any respite? Are there any answers?
Strange!!! Every one of us is aware of the dark gloomy clouds of terrorism empowering our everyday lives, yet no one knows what to do. Everyday when a common man steps out of his own, he takes a vow to thank the Supreme power if he returns safely to his nest. With no security of life, the common man cuts a sorry figure in the midst of all the trauma! But why has human life become so cheap? Who is responsible?
Who is a terrorist? Some one who is misled in his life? But who judges this? Ask him! He will never agree to this point! In the days of Indian independence struggle, the freedom fighters were termed as terrorists by the English power. But these so-called terrorists are held in high esteem today. So, what is the difference? The difference is that the freedom fighters were fighting for a noble cause. They were trying to get what was already theirs and that too without taking any innocent lives.
The terrorists of today believe in taking lives, no matter what! They are just playing puppets in the hands of those who use these misled youths for fulfilling their own selfish motto. Earlier, youths from the backward financial areas were considered to be the best prey for making a good terrorist. But on the other day, I was all the more shocked to hear a news item, which stated that most of the terrorists are now through professionals, who are earning good salaries. They have everything in their life, one can ask for. Then why?
So many Whys, and no answers at all! Phew! Hope this article reaches my audience before any terrorist whisks away life from my soul!
