Convergence
We are contemporaries of an era in which phenomenal powers are vested with each one of us through the advancement of information science & technological convergence. But even in this era, majority of the human population is below the poverty line, suffering in ignorance, struggling for basic necessities of life like food, water, shelter, healthcare, education etc. We are in a flat world.. But we keep looking at the social divide & close our eyes. Is there enough focus on these issues ?… Are our attempts are enough to set right this imbalance ?….. Well.. most of us are busy with our mad race towards professional & academic excellence with our unquenchable thirst to innovate & discover . Can we use the power of IT in the right direction with more emphasis to educate our fellow human beings & create ample opportunities for them to live in a dignified manner ? Can we form a group to work towards this cause. Please share your thoughts & ideas & let us spare a small portion of our time, energy, expertise & efforts for this cause.
