Once Upon a time, there lived a King blessed with all prosperity, power and success.

One fine day Dhana Lekshmi came in front of him and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Immediately, the king called the ministers to organize a glorious farewell for Dhana Lekshmi. Then King told with out any hesitation, “I am honored by your presence all these years. Thank you so much.” She was given a grand farewell.

Next day, Adhi Lekshmi came to the King’s courtyard and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Immediately, the king called the ministers to organize a glorious farewell for Aadi Lekshmi. Then King told with out any hesitation, “I am honored by your presence all these years. Thank you so much.” She was given a grand farewell.

Next day, Gaja Lekshmi came to the King’s courtyard and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Immediately, the king called the ministers to organize a glorious farewell for Gaja Lekshmi. Then King told with out any hesitation, “I am honored by your presence all these years. Thank you so much.” She was given a grand farewell.

Next day, Sandana Lekshmi came to the King’s courtyard and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Immediately, the king called the ministers to organize a glorious farewell for Sandana Lekshmi. Then King told with out any hesitation, “I am honored by your presence all these years. Thank you so much.” She was given a grand farewell.

Next day, Dhanya Lekshmi came to the King’s courtyard and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Next day, Vijaya Lekshmi came to the King’s courtyard and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Immediately, the king called the ministers to organize a glorious farewell for Vijaya Lekshmi. Then King told with out any hesitation, “I am honored by your presence all these years. Thank you so much.” She was given a grand farewell

Next day, Aiswrya Lekshmi came to the King’s courtyard and said, "Oh, King, I have been with you for so long. Now the time has come for me to leave you”. Immediately, the king called the ministers to organize a glorious farewell for Aiswarya Lekshmi. Then King told with out any hesitation,“I am honored by your presence all these years. Thank you so much.” She was given a grand farewell

The last one to come to the King was Veera Lekshmi. SHE said,“Oh King, all my friends have gone. I feel lonely here, nevertheless, I too have to visit my home. Please give me permission to leave you. Suddenly, the King fell at the feet of Veera Lekshmi and started weeping and pleading, “Oh, Mother! Please don’t leave me. I am distressed for all others leaving me, but you are too dear to me. I just can’t even think for a moment that you would leave me. If you leave this palace, what else I have in me to meet my commitments to my people? My people soly depends on me for their happiness, security and prosperity.In your absence I will become worthless King to my people and my country, such that the only option in front of me is to end my life. Oh, Mother have mercy on me”. Veera Lekhmi, as a kind MOTHER could not stand the plight of her devotee and had to succumb to the the Kings wish. She remained in the palace.

Few days passed by, Other friends got worried about Veera Lekshmi and came in search of her. Veera Lekshmi told them all that had happened.Other friends also felt very bad for the present plight of the King and decided to stay with him for ever.
