We all know the blood bath and bubble bursts since 2000 in the US – first it was the IT “bubble” that burst in 2000 and eight years later the near collapse of the financial markets. But this is not about analyzing why this happened? It’s about a very important and deep social change that is under way since 2000 in the US.

A recent survey across the US and one that polled all the 50 States and social classes and age groups show that Americans belief and trust in their Government, Business and Policy Leaders, in their Institutions has dropped to levels around 25%. Translated, only 1/4^th Americans have faith and belief in these institutions to navigate through these difficult times and for their future. That’s an all time low in I don’t know how many decades.
