Handsome doctor for the labour pain..

Plato long back expressed in one of his books about the choice of leaders in democracy.Let me put them down here for your views and thoughts.I really don't remember when did I vote..and for which party last.Because I voted once (though you consider it to be an irresponsible act in the proud democratic countryI feel I am not alone in this feel.)Plato never says Democracy is best anywhere. He said democracy is a rough ocean for the ship of state to sail through.Albeit the controversies of the craze driven crowd, crowd driven democratic rulers and overall picturization of failure of democracy one thing which touched me was the importance of a good leader.May it be democratic or monarchy or autocratic, there is a need for the best leader.

There comes the objective choice of people based on the need. When we chose somebody to polish our shoes or to get our clothes stiched we look for the best person who does it rightly because of his experience in his profession. When somebody has some problem with the health we look for a doctor with the ensured degree and experience in curing it.But why in chosing the leaders of the country we are not able to set any standards for the politiocians.

People getting crazy by the speeches are just doing the stupidity of chosing a 'handsome doctor for the labour pain'.It just doesn't work. The doctor may be handsome,he might even be eloquent also. But he should know what is his duty too. The same way the need of the profession should be taken care by the suitable persons and not by the irrelevant criteria.

I just gave the theme that touched me so much in Pato's writings. And its just an option for anybody to think and rebuild their opinion about the country's leaders.I have thought hopefully this drama of politics becomes much desciplined in the near future so that I could find the person for whom I should vote.

Keeping a hope for the doomed politics in the democracyor otherway politics that is making democracy doomed:-)

Reminds me the TATA tea advertisement. Take this blog also like that. But still we can think over what Plato said. These are his concepts in my words.
