beware of hotel elgin in shillong
dear sir/madam,
here i want to inform to all the tourist to be aware of hotel elgin in shillong,which is situated on the meghalaya bus terminus 5th floor.when we visited there after completing the assam tour,there were crisis for hotel booking.there were every hotel book.but in hotel elgin's manager arranged there office room for that day in 1000 rupees for 8 people.the room was so small.but we considered because no hotel was free in shillong.we need more two days for booking.then the manager arranged one room for eight people.there were eight beded room atach bathroom,so we had no problem.thats why we also paid.we gave them the advance so automatically we got to chance to staying there for one more day.next day the owner of the hotel,the punjabi person was present in the reception he,himself arranged the car for going to the cherapunji.he did not say anything.but when we came back from our cherapunji & when me & my friend going for open the lock of our room the lock was already open & also there were other tourist live in our room,& also our luggeges are not there.we just amazed & automatically we & our gurdians want to know that what the wrong with us?they said, that is their room.they did not believe us we were staying there.when we were went to the reception the owner behaved us very badly.he shouted on us and told to us that is our falut.he said"i tell u just for one day i consider you.who give you the right to lock the room?"my father said no u did not tell me atleast".then he said,"yes i told your friend"but my uncle also denied.my father said,"if there are any problem then ok we may consider,but atleast you inform us,but there are no rule to break our lock"i also said"how can i believe you?if something is missing?this is question of security.i have the rule also to going to the police station and doing an f.i.r."the owner said"yes madam definately go,i am with you."the person challenged me.after that we entered our new rooms,so conjusted,so small.but we were helpless so staying there.everything was ok,i mean the luggeges were ok.another thing there were same thing with another tourist,where their lock also broken by the hotel authority.after that when we again going to the reception the owner was not there.only manager was there.manager also said to the other stuffs"they have the right to going to the police,what did you do".the other stuffs were also good for the first day to last day.they also feel ashamed.they supported us indirectly.the owner and the person who broke the lock they are so cheap.and the person who broke the lock he just shown us the lock and said,"this is the lock of room number 115"we staying there for that night.but next day at early morning we started our last journey for assam.we did not go for police station,because that was unknown place.police may be say for staying there for investigation & in real general people know about police and whether the person challenged me to going to the police station.so may i believe in whatever police do?because he is a rich person & main thing was our security problem.that's why i informed you in late.because i am scared about that after everyone when know about the reality of the hotel,the person i mean the owner will do anything wrong with us.but me & my family & others also want to inform the everybody who is going for shillong,the people must alert.we want that nobody will visit this hotel.please help us to reveal the truth. if you really want to help us then give me a feed back & tell this truth to everyone.
