Virtual World
Virtual Life
See you then on g-talk tonight!
It’s not possible to meet you but surely I will give you a call after my office!
I have a very big network of online friends,…..!
How often have you heard of all these?
The answer is very simple- every now and then.
These networking sites and the mobile phones have entered so deeply into our life that we have forgotten our friends with whom we used to meet regularly and always shared our feelings and views. The modern technology has widened our friends’ network, but how many of them we know personally….we don’t know.
We are neglecting and getting away from our social real life. Now everything whatever we do, we are doing online and in our virtual world. Now we are living a virtual life on the web and mobile phones. How often do we visit our friends house, we wish them either on mobile phone or send them e-cards online on their birthday and other occasions. But in doing this we always forget the feeling and fun of being together.
We have become a slave of technology and we are transforming our world into a web world, which is not a reality. To use technology is not bad but at the cost of our real life it can be dangerous. On the web we always try to get some good friends but how often do we get successful. What is the duration of those web friends and how genuine are they? We get so involved in the four walls of our room that at the end of the day we land somewhere where there is an unlimited web world with lots of web friends but no friends to understand and share our feelings.
Let’s try to socialise and come back to our real world. You can’t hug and show your true feelings through web or phone. Make your friend feel special by wishing him/her personally. Give your friend a “Jaddu ki Jhappi…” and make him/her realise that how much you care for him/her. Let’s party again and rock the world in the open sky somewhere near the sea beach.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
