A visit to Mandav

At this rainy season there are a lot of places in Indore to visit, as it makes the natural beauty by the flow of water near the green mountains in the valley. Just keeping in mindall this kinda enjoyment I went to visit the places Like Tincha Fall, Choral, and Mandav. At Tincha and Choral the beauty comprises of water, greenery, hills, valleys, rocks, and ofcourse the bhutta there. And the most amazing thing which makes it like a heaven is the water fall over there at Tincha.

At Mandav we went at the echo point, various palaces, Jahaj Mahal, Jami Masjid etc etc. We were enjoying a lot. That was my second visit there. When I visited there for thefirst time with my graduation friends, we also met with some foreigners there. This shows that the beauty of mandav attracts the foreign tourists also.

While I was down from a palace in mandav, I saw two children spreading hands in front of us. One child among them had seemed to have learned to stand at his childhood, the hands which were earlier used by him to crawl on the ground were being used for begging now. Those hands, which should caress and titillate the cheeks ofmother or play a soft balloon were now spread for begging. That scene diverted my mind from the delectation to vex. Yes, I did not give money to the childbecause, I didn’t want to encourage him and his parents to make him stand there;also I objected others from giving.

I feel pity that thereare no rules for the beggars where to beg and where not to. Government should think about the image those children will leave on the foreign tourist. Atleast at the places where foreigners visit, beggars should not be allowed. It makes a bad print on the tourists’ mind.

Do you know, I met a German in a train who has visited India several times? He had also learned Hindi language with the craze and affection for India. He said that he had visited many countries like Thailand, China, Srilanka, and many more but Indiawas best. I was repleted by happiness with his words, but I also knew that a small country Nepal’s people call Indiansas dhoti, a radio jockey from Philippines says Indian girls are cheaper than condom. We also know that they say Indians are poor and crummy. We here call the names of Aryabhatt, Mahatma Gandhi, C.V. Raman and many more and feel proud to be Indian but we have not tried even to know what impact we leave on others, and why foreign people are despising our country.

It is a fact that when tourists come to our places, they take the snaps of garbages near the trainstations, in the water near sacred places, beggars and so on.

There are a lot ofrules and regulations made for the well being of India and Indian people but the country is so large that unless we the citizen of India take the step to make the country flourish it won’t. So, let us make India better.

The country is giving us so much. We should listen to the country and her heart beat and live in the harmony of this beautiful nation.
