The modern ways of phones ,emails and many websites ensures and gives us easy ways to communicate ,Its very easy in todays world to be in touch.

Inspite of having so many methods ,we have forgotten the age hold method of meeting people at home ,sharing thoughts and experiences.

We have forgotten the elderly people who badly want to talk ,share their experiences about the life.

The experiences they have had is not applicable in todays world is the myth of some of us but friends just compare the quality of life they have had and what we are having today ,the health they had and what we have today.

The relationship that they have developed which we are struggling to develop, the work ethics they had which is missed in most of the organisation.

The openness in communication and pouring your heart out which lacks today so the result is failed relationships and the tensions at home .

I have to say that if we dont learn from them ,then what are we going to pass on to our next gen.

We have time to talk on unnecessary subjects ,spend time on social websites ,see worthless and painful TV but dont have time to meet elders ,talk to them .

They are willing and eager to share there experiences but are we ready to take it.

Its just that when they are in the death bed or hospital that we pay a courtesy visit and then say that we havent spend time with them . We are also growing older and may face the same fate .

Are we ready for it?
