sin & crime

Sin and Crime playing vital role in human life. What is the difference between sin and crime. Which is a debatable questions. Which is worst? There is no definite rule. All sins are not crime and all crimes are not sin. Rarely sin and crime merges. It is all subjective and context based. Depends upon the situation crime is defined by human law. Sin is defined by human instinct or it is a God's verdict.

Human law can punish a criminal, but can not punish a sinner. Sin does not belong to human legal system. Crime does not belong to God's legal system. Adultery is a sin, but it is not a crime. If a woman commits adultery, her husband kills her when comes to know it. He is a criminal and will be jailed. But he is not a sinner in front of God.

People who lend money for interest are sinners, but there is no human legal action for punishing money lenders.

Extracting more work from employees for long hours is a sin, but those employers(boss) are not criminals. If sons do not look after their parents in their old age are committing sin, but those sons are not criminals. Legal system has no scope to punish those sons.

But if a man molested a woman, then he is a sinner as well as criminal.

Sinners and criminal have conflicting meanings. All the criminals in jail are not sinners. They might have some good cause behind their 'criminal' activity. Soldiers captured in enemy's country during war is a 'criminal', but a 'patriot' in his motherland. Here the soldiers identification is subjective to the situation.

Sin and crime should be synchronized. There should be no difference between sin and crime. Legal system must have scope to punish sinners too. It is the sinner who does more injustice to others than criminals. Criminals must be punished if they also come into sinners category.
