Does Feng Shui brings home happiness?
Feng Shui experts believe the
science can change your life for the better. Here are some tips they offer to
bring happiness home...
It’s possible to make your home the best place to ever be! You can bring more
fun and playfulness to your family by putting pink, metal or round elements in
the western area of your home. You could try some pink flowers in a silver vase. Colours enhance the western chi, which is
that of fun and contentment.
You should move the family beds so that the heads face the southwest. This
tends to create a more caring stable atmosphere. Also try sitting facing that
direction. This surely helps to boost peace.
Create more Yin in the home to reduce tension. A quiet atmosphere will reduce
tension. Create a room that has long curtains, natural fabrics, and creams and
other soft colors. You must cover sharp corners with bushy plants. Have the
seating facing north. Keep charcoal in a clay container on the south side of
the room. Keep mirrors to a minimum. Avoid having negative feelings, and chi,
build up in your home.
Take fights outside. If you cannot, open the windows immediately following the
argument to allow the negativity flow out. If it was a bad fight, sprinkle sea
salt on the floor and allow it to sit overnight, absorbing the negative energy.
Sweep it up in the morning and move it out of the house.
Update the family eating area by using natural wood. Put cushions on the
chairs. Use yellows, browns and beige for place mats and tablecloths.
The key for happiness is to organise your home and avoid clutter. Functional storage allows the chi to flow through more easily. You'll find the
tension will melt. And there’ll be a lot of peace and happiness always.
