God measures us by the spirit of Giving. The act of giving is a unique proposition with outgoing concern, sincerely deployed by a soul-stirring element to help a person in need. This gesture need to be symbolic and apt to the situation. The receiver is not interested in knowing any big hill claim that you have done to offer help, nor in knowing that you have multiple interests in extending help. It is not even a case of announcing indirectly that the giver, expecting something in turn from the receiver putting him under a cloud of obligation.

Where Human ego comes into play, there is desecration and foul play. The sense of wellbeing shattered, turning out to be a clash of superiority and contest. No remorse sets in, if his fellow creatures die of hunger and poverty.

God never intended the rich man’s justification to be proud of, or the discerning poor to stumble in obvious humility. God has created a same platform for both of them. It is just an act of gentle combination of understanding others predicament in time and space.

What one has to comprehend in this act , is perhaps the common platform that we share, which gives the scope of playing the musical chair, resulting in offering the same circumstances for one another, similar positions in life to everyone. The momentary irrational judgment, a fortunate man commits of an unfortunate person is unjustified, is an act of perdition, punishable by God... Except for different comfort levels, by individual Karmic process, we undergo the life’s ebb and tides, and float on a raft in troubled waters without direction and uncertainty.

Personal status must not pull you from being honest with the poor, to be considerate and to understand their needs; happily give away what you can offer. Governments can create more opportunities to earn, create employment

Life is too short, let us also live for others, do well to others and make their lives a little more pleasant and enlivening.

We grew in groups, shared everything we had, food, clothing and shelter, at this point in time we never complained, we had less misery. We became selfish, self centered, wanted to have something on our own, forgetting our neighbors and friends, then all hell opened up. Today each man is for himself, steadily growing, increasing wealth, which has resulted in a total denial for the underprivileged community.

Modern world has innumerable problems, some of them have originated from our own systems, farmers destroy their produce, when they do not get a good price, what an irony! Hungry mouths observe it in wide-eyed wonder. In relation to this, school children, when fed attend their classes regularly.

Poverty would never have existed in the world, if there were no self-centered activity. Governments can globally implement development programs, which can squarely deal with the issue of– the have not’s.

It is never too late, we need to go backwards, relearn, go back to basics and carefully reevaluate and come to our senses, disown and embark on a loftier mission to save humanity from poverty and brink of self-annihilation
