Success - a Synopsis
Success - a Synopsis
Success is elusive and difficult to achieve. Different people imagine success differently. Some desire money and feel that they are successful when they are counted amongst the Top 10% of the richest people of their land. Some others desire fame, professional name and recognition and think that they are successful when they have been acclaimed the greatest in their profession. Some others feel that a family name, good hereditary pedigree and status in society is success. Still others crave the fulfillment of good relationships and consider themselves successful when they have the love and respect of their near and dear ones.
Money, Professional fame, Status in society and enduring relationships are different manifestations of success. None of these in isolation is sufficient in themselves to give you a long-lasting success. All these are external successes. In order to have long-lasting success and to take full benefit and enjoyment and derive much happiness from any of these individual components and acets of success, we need one internal factor.
The internal aspects of self-confidence, self-esteem and self-acceptance is the most important factor that should be available in our lives. Once we have this internal factor within us - all else can follow. Without this we could gain and conquer the whole world and still loose our soul.
