    Media was agog when truce was declared on the ongoing war between two Ambani siblings following the Supreme Court ruling on pricing of natural gas which is rightfully the prerogative of Union of India. By this judgment naturally Mukesh should feel happy  and thank his long time buddy Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Mr. Deora. Anil should have felt that despite his high connections and media blitz over his ambitious power projects he has lost the case. Kokilaben should have realised that she can not barter national asset as if it were ancestral bequest of late Dhirubai. But none of this happened. Brothers took a retreat, declared to the media that they are forgetting the past, burying the hatchet, dropping non compete clause in the family arrangement authored by their mother. Again Media was happy at the re union of two celebrated legatees to Ambani name. The Shroffs sitting in the corners of Dalal Street heaved a sigh of relief and up went the RIL stock. Pink Brigade( borrowed phrase  from Gurumurthi) wondered if the Sensex will touch 20000 shortly. 

    There is a method in this madness. Ambanis are adept in these games. Reliance petrochemical was hived off RIL- the stock market roared. Thereafter it was again merged in to RIL- this time also stock market roared. RIL and ADAG split- stock market roared. RIL and ADAG fought  a long court battle on issue of gas pricing. Both the brothers met the Prime minister and UPA Chairperson. the younger ones is already a Samajwadi MP of Rajya Sabha. After the present patch up it is now expected that the share prices of both the companies owned by siblings will rise to new peaks.RIL was alleged to be a beneficiary under Oil for food scam. The amount of money amassed was close to 3000 million. Now no one could believe that Mukesh Ambani could influence international opinion to favor Saddam Hussain as to deserve this booty. It was evident that some one else made money on the back of RIL. no one bothered to find out. Not even our leftist comrades like Nilotpal Basu and Das Gupta. Ambanis have friends cutting across party lines as does Sharad Pawar. They are too clever for our Prime Minister. They are the new zamindars of democratic India.It is now the Government by the people, of the people and for the people
