    Of all people, Digvijay singh has been consistent in one point while articulating his views on the so called Anti corruption crusader Anna Hazare. He has been maintaining that his andolan is propped up by RSS and Sangh Parivar. No one took him seriously and even I was thinking that he is stretching things too far. To days token fast at Jantar Mantar  percusor to a even more vociferous form of protest against the failure of UPA Government to formulate a Lok Pal Bill to the liking of a few privileged citizens of this country consisting of lawyers who have crores and crores of wealth, Ex bureacrats, Judges all in the garb of social activisim challenging the power of the people provd his point. I mean those who live below poverty line of Rs.26 a day in rural India and Rs.32 a day in Urban India who are estimated to be 60% of our population. These people elect governments by large scale participation and it is these people this team of crusaders call as those selling their votes for money and liquor. Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal were at their belligerent and audacious best while Anna as usual was unrepentant, adamant and egoistic. This team had invited the political class for a debate in a public forum about enacting a strong anti corruption bill. To my surprise even the leftist camrades and JDS joined the debate along with BJP whose cause this andolan has chosen to espouse. It is no surprise that the media also gave a huge coverage to this paid tamasha . They were singing in praise of Modi's Gujarat for un precedented GDP Growth figures above that of national average while chosing to ignore Uttar Pradesh where a Dalit CM managed to match Gujarat growth figures on GDP. Instead they focused on Mayawati's spend on ambedkar park in Nodia while chosing to be silent on Modi's grand plans to build a statue and memorial for Patel in Gujarat. To day, the arrogant old man who calls himself a Gandhi who was always humility personified, asked the youth to take to streets if his version of lok pal bill is not brought forward. He spared no one in the ruling party. He targeted Rahul Gandhi- for I believe he is fast becoming a youth icon and has done are atleast attempted to do no politician ever has attempted like providing for fair price for land acquistions, and he even offered a constitutional status for the proposed Lok Pal. At that time, The Prime Minister could have siezed the initiative and offered the same but he was sulking for he felt he was outdone. There is no one in the opposition especially in the BJP ranks to match Rahul and he needs to be targeted for dilution of Provision of Lok Pal Bill. Some time ago, Anna Hazare said that PM is a good man and there is a remote control which is bad. He was referring to Sonia Gandhi. On both the occasions, this Prime Minister was non chalant. He did not voice his protest. This time it is Rahul who faced his ire. PM remains silent. The recent land acquisition  bill ensures fair price for farmers and if implemented could swing a large scale of rural voters in favor of Congress. Anna has said today, that Parliament should not legislate. The Panchayats should. Either he is insane or he is being tutored by those who want to reap the benefits of this anti corruption movement if at all it succeeds. 

    UPA-I had the backing of left parties and even though it was inconveninet for the government to push forward its reformist agenda, it was ensuring that the government was not losing track of pro poor policies. due to the madness of this PM who wanted to have the nuclear deal at any cost, Leftist are now seen with BJP in opposing the government. When Advani called PM a Sikhandi ( that was an injustice to the great warrior that Sikhandi was- she managed to avenge her humiliation in a previous birth by Bhishamacharya)PM turned furious called him names and alleged that BJP was conducting Havans   for his ouster. When UPA chairperson is attacked he remains silent while he expects all of his cabinet to defend him. whenever crisis encircles, PM with draws never takes position and expects others to do fire fighting. What kind of a leadership that this man is providing? VP Singh even though was a modern day Mir Jaffer and Jaichand had the guts to float his own Manch and rode to power with the support of right and left. This Man has betrayed the party that chose him as its leader of the government for his perceived integrity and shifts blame for whatever wrong doing his Government is accused of. Well it is time it dawns on the Congress Leadership that he is fast becoming a political liability and embarrassment for the party.
