STALIN

O NO it is not Joseph Stalin I am writing about. The second son of Mr.Karunanidhi, who has been recently annointed successor as Deputy CM by the ageing CM is the hero of this blog.

Stalin had been made Deputy CM much in the same way Badal Junior was made by Parkash Singh Badal. But unlike Badal Jr.Stalin has had a long political career. His untiring work among partymen during all these years have brought in a delayed recognition. Stalin has no charisma which MGR had and he has no oratorical and writting skills that his father possesses. Stalin believes in hard work and has toiled his way thus far. Stalin has never called CM his father but referred to him as leader( Thalaivar) all along and has been a disciplined solider of the party. His record as Public administration Minister managing the various local bodies has been stupendously remarkable. Recently Stalin was recognised along with a host of officials for successfully completing the drinking water scheme for the district of Ramanathapuram, a largely neglected district in the state facing acute water shortage. Stalin deputised for his ageing father in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections and the UPA victory is definitely attributable to his whirlwind tour and untiring work. It is not too far when Stalin will become CM of Tamil Nadu and I am sure he will carry the baton of DMK further and bring laurels to the party and his father. MK can be legitimatey proud of his son even though there are murmurs about family control over party affairs. If MK could keep the party united for all these years despite suffering from the exit of the more charimatic MGR, Stalin will definitely carry forward the mantle with his untiring and dedicated service to the cause of the public. I wish him well. Atleast I am not an AIADMK MLA like Sekhar to fear that i will incur the wrath of Amma by wishing Stalin.
