Mayank Austen Soofi!
Have you heard the name before? Probably not...right...? Well...I was awestruck when I visited him...I mean ...Oh! yes, I am still trying to figure out how things are so well...yes yes...I am talking about the Man Mayank...”Mayank Austen Soofi”...Something enigmatic in name itself…yes… I am spelling it correctly...Awesome man...
Blogging could be fasicnation for some, passion for some, living for some, but when it comes to blogging from heart, I should scrap all things around...sit back...open laptop and start writing whatever I felt...I would feel happier if I share it with you all...And this is what exactly blogging is all about...And believe me it's not easy to put it down in words what you feel...Sometimes you mayn't find words to express your feelings or in other situation you may find rather awkward to share it with all...Very true.. And to mention a few things... I think Mayank Austen Soofi is placed high in deserving list, if it is all about Blogging an Art!
Ok! Relax.I was googling around sometime back on
What I loved about him? Oh! Yes I forgot to tell you that I didn't meet this fellow yet, probably will never meet despite fact that we live some hundred meters away from each other. I am not kidding yar...Ok...Relax I will...shall I continue now?
He writes awesome.I should use some more synonyms now...Ok...let me recall..hmmm...After writing some weird blogs in last few days I couldn’t recall anything similar to Mayank’s style..It's unique yar...It is very particular. I mean he writes straight from heart and I am a great fan of people who speaks from heart. What a treasure I discovered today!!!...A blog link...After all... my day's search didn't end up in big Zeros...
I read some of his blogs. The beeline of his introduction "discovering the world around through books" says a lot...He is a KIDA. Sorry yar Mayank don't mind these kind words! relax, I am going to be sober now...shall I call you superbookish? OK...A bookish fellow...No second guess...And somewhere on this blog you could actually see what he reads(Pls don't read that blog, it's sad to discover that we don't know many literary legends names)...I am afraid that I haven't even heard some of those names; then forget about reading them. Ok, so he’s a bookish fellow and trying to figure out things by reading books and yes yes! By writing classic blogs too.
He wrote his own personal experiences in many of blogs...Something amazing in it's own regard. How often we dare to express our heart on blogs? When was the last time we wrote a letter to our soulmate saying how much we loved him/her? When was the last time, we got off the car and wandered in slums? When was the last time, we choked oursleves on smoky roads of old city we live in and still enjoyed it? When was the last time you did something from the bottom of the heart? If you are still finding answers, don't waste time people...Mayank wrote on all these aspects...At least I liked it..You may/mayn't...
Nothing is hidden when he writes. No blog appears to be repetitive. Every blog says different story of same person. They are neither very informative, nor they discuss worldly affairs. They neither give you solution to any problem nor they show disrespect to our meagre knowledge. But yes, they say something amazing to each one of yes. Something simple but What? They say "We are here to give pleasure to all of you" Yes, it gives pleasure to read them. That's best thing about them. Sometimes you may feel it's so weird to read this crap! Yes very true, but may I tell you that this crap is the honest expression of inner world of a blogger who himself confesses that neither his way of writing is good nor his way of expression. But yes, trust me, you will love to read some of them and wish to revisit them.
You could read some of the fancy things out there...May be personal too...Nothing is obscene, nothing censored...Starting from kissing a girl lying next to him, visiting a East Delhi slum, expressing the desires of love to soulmate, wandering across Paharganj’s smoky roads, sharing bitterness of staying alone to wasting life in reading books...everything possible under Delhi’s sun is mentioned by fellow...Good yar...
And one last thing I forgot to mention about him...he seems to be good photographer also...Some of his slums photos could grab awards yar...they are so real...every photo clicked expressed thousand word...so amazing...and I am not alone to visit his blog link...Thousands have already saw it...read it...acclaimed it...
Oh! What a dumb I am...here his address http://thedelhiwalla.blogspot.com
Just drop in! And yes please if you liked it share it with others too...
Good Night!
