Step 1
Get to the airport early. This one step will help more than anything else to avoid lost luggage. Try to be there 90 minutes before your domestic flight and two hours before an international
flight . Give yourself, and your luggage, enough time to make it to the plane on time. -
Step 2
Use a sturdy and distinctive bag tag. You want to make sure your luggage tag has every chance to stay on as it goes through the automated baggage systems at most airports. Use a distinctive tag to help you recognize it and others to realize that the luggage is not theirs. Look at some of the clever tags at Bag Tags Only in the resources. Don't forget to put that tag on your carry on luggage also.

How to Avoid Lost Luggage On Trips.
For those who travel frequently by Air.
One sure way to start a trip off on the wrong foot is to lose your travel luggage. Lost luggage does not happen often but if it occurs to you just once it's too many times. Here are some ideas to keep your travel bags with you and make your trip as smooth as possible.
Things You'll Need:
- Bag Tags
- Stickers or ribbon
- Plan ahead
Step 3
-Add stickers or ribbons to your luggage, particularly around the handle(s). Anything that personalizes your luggage from the many ravel bags that look alike will help avoid lost luggage. I've seen bags that have more ribbon on them than a birthday present and others that use duct tape rather creatively - whatever works.
Next time you fly, note the above tip's.
