Izzat ka Sawal
I always wonder what is Izzat. I tried to find out its definition.Who possesses it and who does not. In other terms who can possess it.Is it more likely to dwell with riches or poors can afford it as well. In which part of world could I find it most? Ok! let me explain why this confusion arises in my mind. I read in newspapers many times that whenever a girl is raped, they say "Izzat Looti". I wondered why girls carry it with them and do not leave it at some safer place so nobody can loot it.Before I get answer to this question, I read in news paper that a man commits suiside due to lose in share market and he has written in suiside note that he was afraid of loosing Izaat. Now I found that not only girls but boys also posses Izzat. But I could not conclude because next day I was going with my father in a party with wearing a dress without Iron on it and he stopped me saying"Izzat kharab karwaoge kya". Now the confusion is does Izzat has relation to clothes also.I know one person who has spent 3 times his capacity in his daugher's marriage and now suffering. I heard that he did this to gain more Izzat. So this means If I spend more money then my Izzat will go up. And this also means that Izzat has relation with money. Ok..further I found that people buy TV, Fridge, Soap,Oil, hanky, deodorent, bike,car ..so on keeping in mind about Izzat. Means branded and well advertized material has more Izzat then others. My brother failed in 10th class and father said that "Tumne pariwar ki Izzat kharab kar di"...Now I am totally confused..Where the hell does this Izzat exists--Girls, Ironed clothes, share market, money, consumer goods or in school results. Another question is how to measure that how many kilograms of Izzat can be lost in a particular activity...
Please let me know if you know this. If you dont know then stop doing unnecessary things saying"Izzat ka sawal hai"
