This piece of my creation goes to my friend Sakhi..
Sakhi - we fondly call her, is actually Baisakhi. She's a typical Arieian. She speaks her mind. Never afraid of her steps.. She's known among her peers for her silver tongue & her sharp intellect..A girl who is not afraid to take responsibility of her own actions.. I have always looked up at her as a true modern day Woman..

Now a little background:- Our journey of friendship has withstood many turbulance.. But we still managed to keep the bond intact..In fact, with every passing day, it has witnessed more maturity, understanding, trust, immense support & unadulterated love.. Like me, she too is a proud bird.. She is a web designer by profession.. a rare combination of a beautiful soul & a creative mind..
The reason why I am writing this today is because I just felt she has done it again.. I mean she has startled everyone yet again with her mindspeak..

Sakhi, was in a on-off relationship with a guy from last 5 years..All she & everyone around her knew, was that its never gonna work out between them.. When they loved eachother, they loved eachother from the core of their heart & when they hated eachother, they expressed their hatred for eachother through all possible means.. So once after one such distressful encounter, they decided to move on & never cross eachothers path again.. NEVER-NEVER-NEVER........................
Meanwhile Sakhi's career occupied her dreams, she scaled the lader of success..She experimented with a series of relationship..Atlast with her parent's insistence she agreed to get married to a gentleman of their choice.. This gentleman-a well paying geek from Dubai.. As months passed she conditioned herself to get married to this gentleman & everyone thought that she has metamorphed into a mature woman.. Though I was puzzled at her new-found subdued nature..But I reasonated that probably, fate played its cards & we are just mere puppets in its hand, so Sakhi has seasoned herself according to fate's whims & trying to pursue happiness where it fancies her to..

Family decided to get her registered first as it will take some months for the gentleman to get her Visa done.Her registry marriage was slated for September last week followed with a social wedding on December.. I had to go abroad, but somewhere deep within me, I was worried for my friend as luck has never been by our side when it comes to happiness & destiny has always played tricks with both of us..

So when I was away, again Destiny played its due course, but whether it was for good/ bad, I leave that on you to decide..

I got a message from my friend that the marriage has been called off..I got worried..a petrified me was fumbling for words when I called her up.. I was not sure how should I console her! At this point, Sakhi broke the ice, she said its okie, that she has called off the event.. Though now, she is legally the wife of that gentleman, but after the formalities, the guy ( remember the one I mentioned sometime before), gottu realise what he has lost.. That the love of his life is going away..That all this while, the one, who he thought his enemy, is actually his soulmate.. He was not able to look into his own mirror reflection.. He thought to speak to Sakhi & I don't know how the further emotions took shape, but they realised.. They decided their further course of action & Sakhi took her first step & gave voice to her thoughts.. Its better Late than NEVER....She called up the gentleman & told him everything that she has decided & he being a gentleman he is, has understood & happily nodded.. She spoke to her parents but their consent is not in their favor, though the couple is still trying to win their heart.. Today Sakhi has filed for the anullment of her marriage & Sakhi & her guy are togather holding eachother for the pursuit of their happiness.. My best wishes are with them..

I vow to Sakhi..
She has proved that LOVE takes courage..Its not a game for the weak-hearted..
Its easy to fall in Love, but its respected only when you can stand by your own choice.. When you can't respect & stand by your own words, how can you expect anyone else to pay heed to your decisions..So stay by your promises & decisions, do whatever it takes..
Its true, that we don't know what destiny has in store for us, but you certainly have a choice of what you can accept & what you cannot..Its easy to die for love than being alive without love..
Love is above all.. The most respected religion..The most powerfull healing..
