Morning of an Evening!
It was around 4.30 pm in my watch. It was cloudy out there. I thought there will be rain in some time. I was waiting for my cab which was supposed to come at 4.15. I called up our logistics department and came to know that I wasn't rostered that day(I was scheduled to attend a training which was postponed). Now situation was like - my log-in time was 5.00 pm and I was 25 kms away at 4.45. No was I could reach on time. I thought to show my punctuality and be there ASAP. I took out my bike and started my journey. Everything was fine till then. I reached a few kms away and heavy rain started. I found a giant tree and stood under tree half wet. Even after half an hour the force was same and going ahead seemed full of risk. I thought "let me bunk today!" But bunking can be dangerougus at job. I reealised that I was no more a collegean. Called my manager and informed about the situation. To my surprise he agreed. (This seldome happen in BPOs). I went home. All wet but was in mood of going out again. Fortunately Rahulbhai (one of my close friends and my room mate) was also ready to come out. We got all wet in that heavy rain, had a good strong herble tea (my standard, copy right reserved) and read Madhushala, collection of poems from Harivanshrai Bachhan. At 8.00 pm I thought I should go to office for some time. To my surprise it wasn't usual dark outside. It was mix of yellow-pink-orange colors. I found it really energatic. Trees on the road looked fresh as if somebody just gave them a good warm bath. Road was washed out. Sky was all clean. I got to see rainbow also. It all looked like any king was going out with his carvan and the nature was prepared to welcome him. There was an enigmatic energy and enthisiasm I could feel while riding on my bike through less-occupied roads. I wcould feel a diiferent kind of zeel inside me which I generally feel in early morning at the time of dawn.
I think probably that was the way to begin a beautiful day. But that was an evening, probably dusk. I was confused but I enjoyed it. I hope we all enjoy such events. That is what we call nature which is above everyone, out of everyone's control. We can not get such evening everyday even if we wish. It's all almighty. After all it was the first rain.
