Never Forget Others' Contributions in Your Life

I know a mother, a strong personality - both as a parent and also as a social worker - who gave up a political career just because an astrologer - on whom she had tremendous faith - told her, that she would make it to the top but at the cost of her children, so she quit politics.

I know a brother, a lively personality, who, taking over the role of his ailing father, looked after younger brothers -- ignoring his basic requirements.

We all know some people like them, who didn't bother for their own life at their prime, because their call for duty or depth of emotional attachments with near and dear ones prevailed over their own needs and benefits.

Those were noticeable contributions, so we knew about them, and many of us do acknowledge also.

But there are many, which go unnoticed: may be a father accumulating wealth for his son's higher education, a duty if not discharged, may not degrade his role as a father, still....

Did we notice those small sacrifices, our own made for building our future worth living ? Even if we noticed, do we remember now ?

Rarely, because we consider those as a part of their duty -- what many others in similar situations, may not be even bothering about. But they did!

It's not too late, it's never too late. So open your eyes, scan your past and find out: who did what for you, to place you where you are now and acknowledge!

Let them know, that you know, that you haven't forgotten those extra-care. A small gesture by you will make them happy, and you will feel better. Try it and let me know.

Never forget others' contributions in your life !
