Expression of Chaithany(Livelihood)!!

research student
In an attempt to make my friend to write his views I have got these beautiful lines:

HIM GIRI KE UTANG SHIKHAR PAR,

BAITH SHILA KI SHEETAL CHAON ME,

EK PURUSH, BHEEGE NAYANO SE,

DEKH RAHA THA PRALAY PRAVAH,

NEECHE JAL THA, UPAR HIM THA,

EK TARAL THA, EK SAGHAN,

EK TATVA KI HI PRADHANTA,

KAHO USE "JAD", YA "CHETAN".

-Sri Jai Shankar Prasad.

What is the difference between these two states?Does chethan indicates the active flow of life?Does 'jad' indicates static nonliving material or the frozen thoughts or frozen energy?

When the ice melts it flows. When 'Jad' melts the 'Chethan' or livelihood should manifest. Both are different states of a matter. The one who is sitting calmly and only thinking also has the level of livelihoodness equal to any ant.And each ant also seeks the 'Jad' in it to be expressed for reasonable fraction of its lifetime. So no 'Jad' is totally 'Jad'.One or the other day it finds its flow and becomes livelihood.

For the livelihood the 'jad' is a tool which helps it to manifest itself.Like the language is required by the poet, jad for livelihood is required.Poem is chaithanya, but not exactly the words or the language, but words(language)is required for the expression of the poem!!

So I thank that friend of mine for lending this beautiful phylosophical derivation of every matter and every thought at every moment.Everyone of us wish to understand these two states of our own selves, how lively am I if I am?how lazy amI if I am?How useful am I if I am?etc etc.

I hope we all understand to use the 'Jad' within us to express the 'Chaithany' of ours.
