DAY 1175 Amitabh Bachchan Blog

Okaaayyyy ! so the mathematics went horribly wrong - 33% brain usage during the lifetime of human, balance remaining 67 and NOT 77 … 77% .. got it ! thank you for the correction .. what ever would I do without my FmXt ..!!

Mathematics … a bone of contention for most, but for those that fret and fear, a little jest from Prakash Jha. The shoot of ‘Aarakshan’ had several of us conducting classes in Maths. Huge equations and vocabulary for those complicated expressions had to be got right - the Prakash Jha is a stickler on those ! So whenever we got it wrong he would narrate his own days with his teachers in Bihar.

Maatha mein teeki hoga tabhi na mathematics seekhoge !! his professor would tell all his students !! Ha ha ha  ! So wonderful the explanation and the division of the word !! Adorable !

Its an early post today. I wait in my room after coming back from a visit to a theater and Mall, the Himalaya Mall, here in Ahmedabad. And …. my word … what a reception !! A sea of well wishers and a continuous roar from them that could be heard at Jalsa. I just stood there on a parapet above on the second floor and looked down upon this mass of humanity, my heart pumping, my emotions running deep within and my hair standing on end with goose bumps !! The good ol’ days were back it seemed .. so intense and exuberant the call from the fans … thank you Ahmedabad, thank you Gujarat and thank you the Almighty - for even He seemed to have joined in. As I stepped out of the facility, the clouds opened up and massive showers broke in. It had not rained here for the last three months and this time of the year with all the heat, it was essential for it to come ; helps agriculture too. And there it was dark low threatening clouds, strong winds and pelting rain !! A relief for all. Its apparently raining in other parts of Gujarat too. Happy for all, happy for Gujarat, happy happy happy ….!!! The rains came along with me !!

As I travel from city to city into different parts of the country, from one region to another I notice how with each changing state a remarkable attitude change takes place among its residents. And that to me represents the state of the nation. During one of my visits to erstwhile Soviet Union I noticed how very early in their kindergarden days, the boys were taught to crick their necks upward to depict a stance as they marched past. It remains with them till their dying days. A stance that depicted that we are the best, that our next will be made and delivered.

More later .. cannot keep my eyes open … love to you all
