“Save our Tigers ” is the call from NDTV’s Dr Pranoy Roy and today
therefore I travel in the morning to Delhi to shoot some promos for the
campaign and to do a press conference announcing the responsibility of
all towards the preservation of this magnificent animal. A fascinating
research and poll conducted privately through various bodies throw up
some amazing facts. There are only 1411 tigers left in India, down from
over 40,0ooo that were registered some time ago. An entire day right
from the airport to studios of NDTv, has started and has been
responsible for the campaign ‘Save our tiger’ !
