England breathes easy again ! Won her soccer game 1-0 in the World Cup and now enters the last 16. There was an urgency about the game and Slovenia that put up a good fight went off disappointed. Many here in England had expressed displeasure at the manner in which their team was playing lackadaisical and without focus. This afternoon it all came together. Just about !! Agastya has ripped his toe while playing ‘catch’ and has been stitched up with medical glue. Little fellow full of beans and excitement will have to cool off a bit. He is such an enthusiast. In incidents such as this we slow the game down .. standard procedure from others which have been earmarked. Pomp and pagentry no longer exist and so writing or commenting in for the tree plantation, makes for good reading. An entire evening has been spent with Bachchan Bol regrouping for the sale, as all ideas coming to the front, have been given a presence. The more one talks of a probable expansion the more we realize that the proponents change drastically too. But of that later. For the moment we savor what has been offered, many other related ideas are brought up for nostalgia !! We work towards it. I am very keen to put up on Twitter two of the reviews of Raavan, written by my dearest pin followers on my Blog. It is beyond perception that they have not been under any kind of influence, but have expressed great clarity and in depth intensity in putting these thoughts together. I have sought permission to do so from my followers on the Twitt, most want it, some do not. They feel that I am trying to insist on getting across the merits of the film despite its poor performance. This is not true at all. I would want as many to read how beautifully written these pieces are. They are a work of art to me. Yes they are pro the film, but that is not suggestive of anything. So Satyam, Anupam, Phyliss, Qalander take a bow. I shall be putting across your thoughts by the morrow ! Exquisite as they are in its content I personally feel, they have the capacity to become great educators of cinema. Seldom do we, in todays rapid fire times get opportunity to sit and assess and document that which needs to carry documentation ; a kind of a librarian effect. But so be it ! These pieces shall see the light of day to prove we were dwarfed by their presence. Well done all !! Business is such a tough call at any time of the day or year. And those in the world of creativity need to understand and perceive that. We must not allow ourselves to be brow beaten by uncalled for execution. Creativity or any form of it cannot be exploited for common gain. Creativity belongs to the creator, he or she must be valued for it. And paid !! Its right of possession must come from its desire to be with the person that created it. For years now, the creator, the artist has been sidelined from actual profitability. Why ?? In what way has his contribution to be evaluated any less. There has been no effort to protect them, feed them, provide them with the basics of school or house. Let us at least be responsible in realizing ethics of copyright and property with content for those among them that wish to go further. We have for long now given in to the tradition of non conforming with the norm. I am excited with the prospect of building these first off designs for the hoi-polloi, to be able to get some idea of their tastes, and more importantly, be able to give them the assurance, that covered by the term of the agreement - The brain drags along, despite its weary journey … a journey, that I know shall be loved by all ..
