There is great haste in giving a response to the question I had asked about the pictures in the previous post. Here it is :

Look closely at the picture of the tree. Two prominent trunks show up in V shape. The trunk on the left, just below the dark region which is an opening in the tree, there is an owl sunk inside the bark, camouflaging itself. It is day and he sleeps, confident in the thought that no one shall ever discover him. But our smart naturalist, the ever efficient Ratna who drove us around caught it in just a passing glance. Were I to show you the picture from a distance you would be equally baffled. See how nature protects nature. An owl asleep hiding inside the opening of the bark and it looks like its part of the tree !!

Prakash Jha finalises all the routines for the shooting next month for ‘Aarakshan ‘. Things now warming up to the film and its work. Casting is in place and the script shall be with me in a day or two. Reservation has always been a topic of interest and discussion. I do hope that the film shall be able to quell the many questions that abound on this matter.

There are many questions too being raised by those on the Twitter on the Tiger preservation. What are the funds for ? Who will disburse them ? Will it go to the right sources ! And so on !

Of course when such an important and committed programme is launched, the disbursement of the funds in a rightful manner are of primary concern. Three Chief Ministers were spoken to live on the show. The entire world saw and heard their commitment. Prominent citizens, artists, activists, film celebrities, legal luminaries who promised free legal help in all matters Tiger, have all given a bit of themselves towards the cause. Do the twitterati genuinely feel that these funds will not find their rightful place ?

It is the easiest part to sit behind a faceless pseudonym and question and seek answers. Asking as though it was their birthright to do so. What needs to be asked of these people, is what have you done for the cause ! Passing comment without any personal involvement on our acts and deeds is an insincere way out. To find fault in it is even worse. Come and mix with those that deal with the problem on a daily basis. Understand their difficulties and their lives. And come then, to make what you feel needs to be done. And if, you are incapable of doing this, which I can guarantee shall be the case in most, then hold thy peace !!

Many a time we are tempted as would most humans, to pay back in similar kind, what they were dealt with first. It will require immense patience and understanding to realize that in our silence will always lie a certain dignity of truth. Many would debate this and say if not reacted to, conveys acceptance. May be, may be not ! This is an individual choice. Just because one does it does not mean that all must do it, as though in some ritual ! Far from it ! I may not react because I may have realized its uncertainty or its fruitlessness. But if that is going to be taken because of the medium we are in, adversely, then we must set the record straight. In whichever way it is deemed fit.

Sometimes when we wait patiently, events and occurrences resolve by their own accord. This is indeed the most devastating rejoinder. No sword was drawn and the enemy vanquished ! Our desperation to right the wrong, often is detrimental to the cause or the larger picture. Have the strength to wait and pause. Most occasions shall turn out to be the way we wanted it. Impatience aggravates. An aggravated mind or body is vulnerable and weak. You have already expressed and given off what you had to. The enemy shall always wait for this moment, because he shall be able to judge the potential, rather than fear it now.

I have with patience dwelled upon the matter for some time now and hope to rest. A rest that has been so meticulously worked out by EF members. I do agree with them and shall follow advise ~
