DAY 1096 Amitabh Bachchan Blog
Okay ! Okay ! I know its late … very late ! But no matter what time it is I get disturbed and anxious until I put down my post for the day. So irrespective of the fact that I have had a rough day, early, action oriented and have travelled in the traffic conditions at all hours, I still feel incomplete if I have not connected to all my extended family …
In fact it is rather heartening to know that even though it has been an almost 21 hour day, I do honestly feel quite fresh and energised enough to get down to ‘penning my thoughts’. I will confess however that there have been moments when, exhausted by the end of the day and on my computer with the post of the day, I have rambled off many insignificant and senseless words, which on reading through after they have been done, have found them to my utter horror, of making no sense at all ! So many a time I have had to redo the entire page, just so I did not give all the impression that I was on my way to either Agra or Ranchi - two cities I believe that have provision for lunatic asylums !
But having said that … I was also wondering, what if I did do a post in a sleep induced condition and see what the result would be. The mind is a very versatile object in us, and has reason to surprise us often with its thinking process. It would be wonderful to share with the EF, what an unprotected mind would convey, for, in most of our living and conscious existence, the mind has always been in a state of cautious expression ; barring a few unique examples of humanhood.
So … if on one of these fine days you were to come across an entire post which was never apologetic about its content, you would and should be able to guess how and where it was coming from.
It is a difficult task to undergo, but one I know shall be an instant hit because of its inconsolable content. Most ventures that possess such traits, are, generally successful hits. The irony and reality of life. The trick there would be to allow the mind to rest in between the task. I have noticed that when the flow of the writing is rapid and continuous, there is very little chance that sleep shall get induced. Its when you stop to think and ponder that the mind wanders. And because the mind works at a good hundred times faster than a chip in the computer, we are straddled with a million thoughts, each clamoring to come out with gusto and effect. That is when we go astray. That is what I would love to read, even though it emantes from the same system that decoded it. Fascinating is it not !!
So you see even at 3.30 in the morning the brain is willing to conjure up such thoughts and bring it to practice. And having said that I think I have spoken too soon, because the black squares in front of me and my eyes are suddenly going into multiple images.
Its Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding anniversary today the 20th of April and have wished them before they turned in. Cannot imagine its been four years ! All the excitement and the marriage details, family and relatives in and around a packed house, preparations, customs, rituals … seems just like it all happened a few hours ago !!
Good night my dearest loves … and thank you for bearing up with me at this late hour !!
