It was also spent in front of the TV.. well NDTV to be exact.. watching Abhishek setting out to break the Guinness World record of making the maximum number of public appearances in 12 hours in different cities. And as I write I am happy to inform all that he actually has.. He had to do 5, I think, cities and he just finished Chandigargh after Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Delhi and is on a plane now to Mumbai to PVR JUHU and that will end his record journey. He will in fact have bettered the previous record. All the public functions have to have certain given formats to be complied with - a red carpet, sign autographs, interact with the fans, and do TV interactions. And he has done that at all these places by attending the screening of D6, an exercise incorporated by the Producers in the promotional activities designated and designed.

I await instructions now for the night shoot. I believe it will only start after 11 pm. Hmm… when the world will be getting ready to turn in , yours truly shall be struggling to stick wig and beard with the dreaded gum, that burns and irritates and takes ages to come off. And.. gives me asthma every time the bottle is opened !! So you keep the Asthalin pump ready, inhale the medication, hold your breath and submit to dear old Deepak Sawant, my make up artist for over 30 years.

There have been comments on the blog relating to the fact that for some days now I have been unable to send responses to those that write back. This is deeply regrettable and I must apologize for it. I will certainly send in responses. I need time and that has not been coming. When I do get the time I find myself weighing the odds first. Do I write a post or do I respond to comments. And invariably writing the post wins. But do not despair, the comments shall be coming shortly.

OK… its time to leave. I shall be back.. perhaps very late at night !! And if the gum has not sufficiently irritated my countenance, I shall write.. or comment again..
