The prosthetics took a while longer, mainly because we did it in parts. Some part of it that was not visible was not put so that we could work around it. And when that was over had to go into another sitting to complete the entire job. But the good part was that we were able to can three scenes, scheduled for two.

And as i sit up in bed to write, some gluee bits and pieces of silicon keep ripping off either from hair or behind the ear in the most irritating manner. Reminders I presume of the day or what shall follow tomorrow..

Had a surprise visitor in Aamir on the sets. He was shooting next door and dropped by to say hello. He himself being in some extensive disguise for his shooting. And while we work we heard the news of the terror attack on the Sri Lankan Cricket Team in Lahore as they were going to the Stadium to play their match against Pakistan. Horrid !!

We all live in an uncertain and strange world. We all live in suspicion and doubt. We live without trust and belief. We also live in strength and defiance. In resolve and in peace and we all desire that the rest of the world believes in that too..

Faith and trust begets faith and trust. I would like to believe that. But in today’s times and conditions does it really present itself in belief. I have doubts.

I sent on my blog articles and cuttings that came out in the respectable news paper DNA. These were headlines made from my interview given to Shubha-Saha Shetty, if you remember. I had also pointed out to the readers how words were twisted, how thoughts were assumed, in order that the story being written could point fingers at me.

I had also said in the post that when named journalist reads this they shall calmly inform that the editorial desk mutilated the interview, they themselves having no say in the matter, regretting the final outcome.

Well I was not too wrong. Shubha Saha soon after she read my piece on our blog sent me an sms -

“Sir, read your blog. Its sad if you felt that I betrayed your trust. Don’t know if you can trust me, but I would again say that I have not done anything intentionally and i was myself upset with the treatment and placement of the story. I had forwarded your entire mail to the desk. If you notice I haven’t been even credited with a byline and part of your answer has gone as a question. Under such circumstances I can only apologize. Warm regards, Shubha “

Today as I open my mail, I have another communication from her -

Sir,
I would be grateful if you take off my private email id from your blog. I am getting mails from random people which I do not appreciate.

Dearest and most loved Extended Family, here is what I have to say -

And as for the email that you have sent complaining about your personal ID and its removal, Ms Shubha, do look back at your own deed. I gave you an interview with trust, extensively co operating with your questions and your stipulated time constraints, only to be presented in negative face on the front pages of your prestigious news paper. Following which, a host of column writers, taking their cue from whatever headlines you and your paper had construed, wrote copious articles quoting me through your corrupted presentation, subjecting me to the most debased and puerile expressions on the matter of the named subject.

My blog carried something that today in your words is causing you grief. Something you ‘do not appreciate.’ But did you ever stop to think of the grief I would be caused because of what you and your paper were mischievously responsible for putting out.

Today you order me to remove your private email ID from my blog so that random people do not get an opportunity to write in to you. I ask you, will you remove your article from your paper so that I do not get random people commenting abusively on it ?

Let me answer your question for you. I will remove from my blog what you have asked for ; but you will not from your paper. And I shall also tell you why. Because I am a gentleman and I know how to honor and value trust.

May the EF prosper and flourish and may you be kind enough to guide me in the premise that I have just drawn..
