Mumbai is Mumbai ! Good to be back.

Lounging around catching up on paper work, staff, leakages, plant and garden care … and one MAD Shanouk ! Ha ha ! He just could not contain his excitement. All 6′ over 100 kg of Piranha Dane  running crazily up and down the hall and staircase, without any motive at all. Just the shear joy of finding us all together after a long break, pushing his large slobbery snout right next to ours so we could appreciate and smell his freshly coiffure body, and the aroma of his new perfume that has been bought for him !! Then tired with his antics, snuggles up next to you on the couch and passes out, grunting and growling in is sleep.

It is Sunday as you know today and the time in the evening for the crowds. How they come to know I am back is a mystery to me. I have been away for many Sundays. Drive back from the office into Jalsa and get Abhishek and Aishwarya out too. Its a bit of a crush getting in to my own house - a saffron bearing, long haired ’sadhu’, trumpet in hand heralding our arrival and getting thrown around by the mobbing crowds. Entertaining !! But once inside the gates are opened again and that little moment of audience connect.

So heartening to see the smile and cheer in the eyes and faces of the fans. They are our truest followers and friends. So sincere and devoted. Never have sufficient words to express to them the extreme joy and satisfaction in meeting them….

And then it was back to the Tv and the WC 2010 in SAFrica !! Germany 4 England 1 ! Amazing game. Fast furious and great finesse. London and all of England must be a bit disappointed and forlorn. This is not the result they would have been hoping for. Germany are their most sincere rivals, in more ways than one ! But today, the Kaisers were a superior lot, disallowed goal and all ! And later Argentina spun their magic over Mexico with a 3-1 victory. It is getting very very hot down in South Africa despite the bitter cold.

Tomorrow morning is the ABCorp AGM - once in a year act of meeting up with all the share holders and giving them a profile and report of the Company activities for the year. And soon after that travel again to OOTY for the MohanLal film being made in Malayalam by Major Ravi on Kandahar - the place in Afghanistan where an Indian Airlines flight was hijacked to from India.

Will be visiting Ooty after ages. I think last shot, Dostana, Mard and Aakhri Raasta, Hum there. Wonder if it has become more crowded and if the forests and hills and lakes have been left in their pristine condition. Will find out and respond back when there. Though the reports of the advance parties are that I may have a problem with internet connections. Hope this is not true. It has become our lifeline has it not. No Internet - no Blog or tweet !

It is nearing 3 AM and I must retire. Sleep on the airplane was deprived so need to catch up now, else the share holders tomorrow morning shall be filing a complaint ! Ha !
