How does one handle disappointment ? Get back up on the horse again and ride it ! Tried doing that did not work. Brazil down. Could never have believed it, but they are gone from the World Cup. Not again till 2014 I guess … ah well, strange happenings. Life is full of them.

The morning looked doubtful as far as the shooting was concerned. Heavy fog and mist and low clouds was not conducive for work, but in time the fog cleared up, the sky became darker, rain took over and the cold was excruciating with strong winds bringing out all the woolies, hoods, caps and hot drinks. The shoot is over, the unit is emotional and MohanLal even though he was not on call, came by to express his thanks. Even though its been just a three day shoot, the moment when you have to leave a unit does become sad. All good things come to an end and this little foray into a language film was certainly happy and good.

I did try my best to respond to as many responses as I could, but still feel terrible at not getting all of them done. Many wonder on other sites and social networking, why I spend so much time in replying to all those that come on to my page. Much of this was explained through my Father’s letter coincidentally in an earlier DAY, but to me this is almost compulsive. Its almost as though I feel lost, that there is something incomplete that was needed to be done. And thank God for that.

Some of the comments that come my way urge me to write in simpler form so they do not have to keep referring to a dictionary. But, firstly, I do not write words that are anywhere near wanting to open a Thesaurus. And secondly, even if I were would it not be prudent to allow me to do so. Better to not lose one’s style, if there is any at all, than to deliberately diminish it.

The Bachchan Bol Vog continues. I try every day to fill in whatever I can and await results. Gujarat service opened up 2 days ago and the subscriptions went up dramatically. 28,000 in just 2 days. Which the service providers tell me is like ‘being on fire’. The fun begins all over again. By the end of the month, they wish to launch the service in the UK and then subsequently in the NYC - more connect opportunities with the fans and innovations to keep them informed. Such a different world this has become.

Gosh ! I still cannot get over the shock defeat of Brazil by Holland in the World Cup. The mightiest have fallen and has this not been the norm for all the mighty. Such worthwhile lessons to be learnt from this. No one is perfect and no one invincible. No one. Some day we all have to go, no matter how mighty we may be..

Going to keep this small today. On occasion it is wise to do so. Were I to continue I think I would eventually end up with football sickness and what is more dangerous, build many more football widows !!

So have a pleasant night .. tomorrow is another day .. and one where perhaps there will be much more to say ..
